The construction of a double-storey fire station to be managed by Persatuan Bomba Sukarela Sri Tanjung, Pulau Pinang had been completed by Ideal Property Group. The Key Handover Ceremony of the building was held on 20 April 2018.
Ideal Property Group aided Persatuan Bomba Sukarela Sri Tanjung to complete the construction of the double-storey fire station which sits on an area of 1,800 square feet along Weld Quay, Penang.
Persatuan Bomba Sukarela Sri Tanjung is a voluntary fire brigade stationed along Weld Quay in George Town, Penang. The building of this station was initiated 4 years ago. With the assistance of YB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow, the Penang State Exco for Local Government, Ideal Property Group continued the construction works which was initially halted, due to some unforeseen circumstances.
Ideal Property Group took over the construction in May 2017 and successfully completed the fire station recently. The fire station can accommodate 2 fire engines on the ground level. On the upper level, the building is equipped with a conference room while the premise is secured with an electric and hand chain operated roller shutter at the main entrance.
Ideal Property Group has always placed great importance on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and has also implemented a host of CSR initiatives related to sports activities, schools, temples, surau, markets and other community facilities. The fire station for Persatuan Bomba Sukarela Sri Tanjung is yet another effort by Ideal Property Group under its CSR project.
