Sin Khoon Temple had successfully been rebuilt at Lilitan Sungai Ara.
Ideal Property Group, which is an enthusiast in building a sustainable community living, contributed to the construction cost of the temple. The construction took a period of two years and was finally completed recently. It’s Certificate of Completion and Compliance was successfully obtained on 24 April 2018. The key handover ceremony today was particularly meaningful as it signifies that the temple has finally possesses its own land and building.
Sin Khoon Temple Chairman Ching Mock Chun said he was grateful to the state government and Ideal Property Group for their assistance. Without both, Sin Khoon Temple would not be able to find suitable land for temple relocation.
The new temple is a double-storey premise located in Sungai Ara – a densely populated area. In the future, in addition to the Chinese temple, S.J.K. (C) Aik Hua and the School for Mentally Retarded Children will be located here as well.
